Final Results Are In: Trademore Sherco Racing Shines at the Roof of Africa 2024
The official results are finally in for the Roof of Africa 2024, and we couldn’t be more proud of what our riders have achieved despite the many challenges thrown their way. Known as one of the toughest and most unpredictable hard enduro events on the calendar, last year’s Roof came with its fair share of obstacles—both on and off the course.
While many teams and riders were left frustrated by the disorganization and confusion that clouded the event, our team kept their heads down, gave it their all, and powered through.
Damon Garrell took on his very first Roof of Africa and delivered an incredible performance, finishing with a total race time of 11:55:00.8, securing a Silver Class WIN! A truly outstanding result for a debut ride in one of the world’s toughest hard enduros.
Branden Swanepoel also showed grit and determination, pushing through the demanding terrain and chaos to finish 2nd in Silver Class with a final time of 14:10:55.2. His consistency and endurance throughout the event were nothing short of inspiring.
We are beyond proud of what both our riders have accomplished. Even though last year’s Roof may have been “a bit of a mess,” their results speak volumes about their resilience, preparation, and raw talent.
