Trademore Sherco Racing Celebrates Riders Awarded South African Protea Colours
It is a proud and defining moment for the Trademore Sherco Racing Team as three of our riders — Branden, Dylan, and Damon — have officially been awarded their South African Protea Colours, one of the highest honours an athlete can achieve in local motorsport. This recognition is reserved for riders who have demonstrated excellence, commitment, and outstanding performance at national and international levels, and we could not be more thrilled to celebrate this remarkable achievement.
Receiving Protea Colours represents years of discipline, sacrifice, and an unwavering passion for the sport. For our team, it is a milestone that reflects not only individual dedication but also the collective strength of the Trademore Sherco Racing setup — from riders and mechanics to support crews and family members who stand behind every success.
A special congratulations goes to Damon, who earned his Protea Colours through his exceptional performance this season, winning the National Hard Enduro SA Silver Class Championship. His consistency, technical skill, and relentless drive throughout the year set him apart as a true champion. This award is a well-deserved recognition of the hard work and heart he puts into every race.
We also proudly celebrate Dylan, who not only earned his Protea Colours but also secured the 2025 KZN Regional Enduro Championship, adding another major title to his racing career. His determination, speed, and refined technique have made him a standout competitor in one of the country’s most challenging regional series.
Branden, too, has displayed exceptional growth and performance, earning his Protea Colours through consistent results, impressive endurance, and strong finishes throughout the season.
For all three riders, this achievement marks a significant step forward — a symbol of excellence and a testament to the incredible work they put in both on and off the bike.
